Testimonials

What our clients say.

Feedback from recent membrane roofing projects across Auckland.

Mussi came out, had a proper look, and told us what was worth fixing and what wasn't. It was pretty straight-up, which we appreciated.

Andrew M.Body Corporate · Auckland CBD

The TPO job was tidy. We had other trades on site at the same time and they worked around it without making a fuss.

James R.Commercial Builder · West Auckland

We had no idea what a warm roof actually involved. They talked us through the insulation and membrane options in plain English.

FAQ

Common questions.

Everything we get asked most often — quoting, warranty, licensing, what we install.

  • Who runs Membrane Roofing Systems?
MRS is owner-operated by Mussi Jorge Rosa, a Licensed Building Practitioner (Roofing, BP177855) with 11+ years on membrane roofs across New Zealand. Mussi personally handles every job from initial site visit through to flood-test and hand-over.
  • Are you licensed?
Yes. MRS holds an LBP — Roofing licence (BP177855) and is SiteWise rated. All installs are signed off with a Producer Statement at hand-over.
  • How quickly will I get a quote?
Written quotes are issued within 5 working days of the site visit. A site visit can usually be booked the same week the request comes in.
  • What warranty do I get?
Three layers of cover: MRS 5-year workmanship warranty on the install (2 years on leak repairs); manufacturer system warranty of 20 years for TPO and warm roofs or 15 years for torch-on and liquid waterproofing; plus a per-job warranty on leak repairs because cover depends on the condition of the existing roof.
  • Do you do residential or commercial roofs?
Both. Most of MRS's work is commercial and multi-residential, but MRS also does high-quality residential flat roofs where the architecture calls for it.
  • Where do you work?
Based in Auckland and works across the Auckland region as standard. MRS also takes commercial and multi-residential work across the rest of New Zealand — past projects include Dunedin Public Art Gallery and Otago Boys High School.
