What it is
TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) is a single-ply membrane heat-welded at the seams. It's white or light grey, reflects heat well, and handles UV without degrading.
When to use it
- New flat roofs over plywood or insulation.
- Reroofing existing flat membrane or bitumen roofs.
- Roofs where heat reflection matters — north-facing, unshaded, or with HVAC plant on the deck.
